Tailor made actuation training for your workforce

Rotork products are designed and manufactured to the highest possible standards of engineering - a principle that drives all areas of our business. So when it comes to training, you benefit from the best.

Rotork has been at the forefront of actuation technology since the company was formed in 1957 and it enjoys an unrivalled reputation for it’s commitment to customer support. Our global network ensures that we can respond quickly and efficiently at a local and international level.

All our training is tailored to your requirements. The pre-training questionnaire will determine what sort of training you require and the 1 type of equipment you have on site, even down to specific serial numbers and wiring diagrams. Using this information a training programme can then be created to fulfil your specific needs.

To ensure the continued quality of our training, we limit the number of attendees depending upon the location for the training. In general, a maximum of six attendees on each course ensures that each student receives the maximum benefit from the training.

But it’s not just classroom learning. As part of a typical course, complete actuators will be stripped down and rebuilt.

Building on their own skills students will soon be conversant with all aspects of Rotork actuator maintenance and repair.

At our head office and main manufacturing base in Bath, UK we have a purpose built training facility. Here we have examples of all the Rotork actuators currently in service throughout the world. With its combination of workshop and presentation facilities it is the ideal location for training.

All the necessary equipment can also be brought to wherever you are. And providing there is a suitable location, training can take place at your site, wherever it is in the world.

Our trainers are all experienced Rotork Service Engineers. Their knowledge has been gained over many years working on site - using the sort of equipment and in the conditions that service engineers use.

In addition to this wealth of practical knowledge gained across a variety of industries, they have an in-depth knowledge of the actuators and their development.

Course structure

Rotork has an extensive product range with designs and technical specifications meeting the requirements of industries throughout the world. Due to this we have tailored our training courses and literature to suit the needs of each customer.

Course objective
To introduce participants to the Rotork product range, its design and application to all types of valve, with particular attention devoted to helping participants acquire skills in Maintenance, Fault Finding and Commissioning.

Persons Suitable to attend Training Courses
Electrical, Instrument and Mechanical Maintenance Technicians, Foremen, Supervisory Management and Engineers. Commissioning Engineers and Project Design Engineers.

Course documentation

With each course there is complete documentation - each student gets a set of installation manuals and workshop manuals as well as electrical and control information. On completion of the course each student receives a certificate to show that he has successfully completed the course.

And in line with our ISO 9001 approach, all training and students are documented so that the courses they have attended are traceable.
